Valentine Candy Hearts
Do you remember those sweet sugary Valentine candy hearts that had the cute sayings on them? The popular sweets are still around. Year after year, their makers come up with catchy short phrases that promote love. Sayings like
- Be mine!
- You’re sweet
- Hug me
- You’re fun
- You’re cool!
So now that we have the basis for this blog – let’s take it 2 different directions.
Direction 1 ….. We can ask ourselves – what 2 or 3 word phrases describe us in a positive way?
- Hard worker
- Team player
- Helps others
- Very punctual
- So creative
- Deal closer
- Flexible person
- Supportive to others
It’s healthy for all of us to take a breather from life’s busyness and take stock in where we are and what we are doing.
Direction 2….. The candy hearts were made to be shared.
Do you regularly share compliments?
Do you find the good in others and point it out to them?
Do lift others up or tear them down?
Do you give credit when credit is due?
Do you encourage others when they are down?
Whether you choose to hold on to direction 1 or direction 2 of this message…just do it!
